Set your heart free, then have the courage to follow it…

Sarah was a good sport, being a model for stop frame animation is no joke, it takes time.

Even though these pics are fairly low res, if you look really carefully you will see the subtle changes to the make-up between each shot, I also tweaked the hair between shots to create the animated effect.

Though it’s difficult to see on these low res (for internet) photo’s, you can start to see the pearls I stuck on the highlighted area’s round the eye’s and the hundreds & thousands that I placed on the lips, these were all built up gradually between the shots.

We could call her candy with those sugar lips. Now that I think of it, that might be the sugar rather than the hundreds & thousands.  We did both…

The look changes to purple….

And the layers start to build, glitter and diamante on the eyes and hundreds & thousands on the bottom lip, soon to arrive on the top lip too.  Seriously caked on – perfect for a birthday

Jeremy Briggs and Mike Toivonen getting the cupcake positions to match the previous shot after the hair and make-up tweak.  Absolute precision, patience, commitment and a strong back are requirements for the job.

Almost there…

Yay!  Sarah’s on her feet again ready to do the final shot, phew, that was a long day, but totally worth it!
